Dixie was living in the yard of a nice lady who was feeding her and giving her attention (which Dixie loved!). Sadly, the lady needed to move and couldn't take the kitty with her, so Cat Posse took Dixie in....only to find out that she was pregnant! Dixie is very friendly and loves to be petted and talked to. She takes a while to warm up to new cats, but eventually she gets along well with them. She tested negative for Feline Leukemia, but positive for FIV. It is very possible that the cause of the positive test is that Dixie, at some point in her life, was vaccinated for FIV; unfortunately the FIV vaccination causes positive FIV test results.
